These reports met NSW State Significant Development project requirements and exceeded industry best practice for stakeholder engagement. Lecroma’s strategic but genuine engagement methods built trusting relationships in the affected communities, and established a two-way communication within the community that our client continues to enjoy as it seeks project approval. Lecroma is now supporting Someva Renewables on the next stage of this project, and others.

Project summary
Lecroma managed the Social Impact Assessment process for Someva Renewables’ proposed Pottinger Energy Park project, in Hay NSW.
We developed a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy, which we then implemented through multiple in-region consultation events and sustained engagement with key stakeholders over two years (ongoing).
We deployed qualitative and quantitative research and analysis methods to produce a Preliminary Social Impact Assessment report for the client, followed by the final Social Impact Assessment report that formed a crucial part of the project’s Environmental Impact Statement.
