Laura Egan

Laura brings over 15 years of experience working alongside communities across regional and remote Australia, specialising in asset-based, participatory and place-rooted approaches to social and economic development. She brings an entrepreneurial mindset to her work, identifying opportunities and translating ideas into clear, actionable plans.
As Founder and CEO of Enterprise Learning Projects (now Impact North), Laura secured over $5 million in funding from more than 50 partners to deploy community-led enterprise initiatives that engaged over 1,000 people across 22 remote communities. She trained, mentored and coached 16 enterprise facilitators and assisted in the creation of 10 new businesses and organisations.
Laura is known for inclusive and accessible practice, facilitating genuine co-creation and capturing community stories to inform strategy. Her recent work includes executive-level strategy and governance strengthening for Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation, CEO coaching, brand strategy development and strategic marketing. She is driven by a strong commitment to community-led outcomes and to creating lasting value grounded in the strengths of people and place.
